Terms of Service

Welcome to TidyPig Cleaning LLC (“TidyPig,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, booking services, or allowing services to be performed, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or services.

1. Booking, Authorization, and Payment

  1. Booking a service does not guarantee availability until confirmed by TidyPig.

  2. By providing payment information, you authorize TidyPig to place a temporary authorization hold on your card up to three (3) days prior to service.

  3. Final payment is processed after service completion via Stripe on the day of service.

  4. You agree that all charges approved prior to or during service are final and non-disputable, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

  5. Failed payments may result in service suspension and additional administrative fees.

2. Services, Contractors, and Pricing Authority

  1. TidyPig utilizes independent contractors, not employees.

  2. While we vet and ensure our contractors, TidyPig is not liable for acts outside the scope of authorized cleaning services.

  3. Contractors provide their own supplies unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  4. All quotes are estimates only, based on information provided by the client.

  5. Pricing may be adjusted if:

    • The condition of the home differs materially from what was disclosed

    • Additional rooms, areas, buildup, pet hair, or heavy-duty conditions are present

  6. Any price adjustment will be communicated and approved before work continues.

  7. TidyPig enforces a minimum service charge of $130 per visit to ensure professional standards, insurance coverage, and quality assurance.

  8. A $10 pet fee per animal applies to homes with pets that live in or regularly occupy the property, due to additional time, hair removal, and sanitation requirements.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate service details and instructions

  • Ensure access to the property at the scheduled time (keys, lockboxes, codes)

  • Secure pets and disclose aggressive animals

  • Provide a safe, non-hazardous work environment

  • Disclose fragile, valuable, or sensitive items in advance

Failure to meet these obligations may result in cancellation, fees, or refusal of service.

4. Cancellations, Delays, and Lockouts

  1. Cancellations made within 48 hours of service incur a $50 cancellation fee.

  2. Lockouts or failure to provide access incur a $50 lockout fee.

  3. TidyPig reserves the right to cancel or refuse service due to:

    • Unsafe, unsanitary, or hazardous conditions

    • Biohazards, hoarding, needles, mold, bodily fluids, or construction debris

    • Aggressive pets or hostile behavior

5. Photos, Documentation, and Evidence

  1. TidyPig may take before-and-after photos for quality assurance, documentation, and dispute resolution.

  2. Photos will not include identifying personal information and may be used for internal records or marketing only if separately authorized.

  3. Photos constitute primary evidence in the event of disputes or damage claims.

6. Damage Claims & Limitations of Liability

  1. TidyPig is insured for accidental damage caused directly by cleaners, subject to policy limits.

  2. Damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion with supporting photos.

  3. TidyPig reserves the right to repair, replace, or reimburse at its sole discretion.

  4. We are not responsible for:

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Items not disclosed as fragile, delicate, or high-value

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Mold, bodily fluids, biohazards, or hazardous materials

    • Damage caused by client-provided products, tools, or faulty surfaces

  5. Our total liability shall never exceed the amount paid for the specific service.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee & Refund Policy

  1. No refunds are issued.

  2. If you are dissatisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

  3. At our discretion, we may offer a re-clean of affected areas.

  4. Re-cleans do not apply to excluded services, add-ons not purchased, or issues outside scope.

8. SMS Communications & Consent

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from TidyPig Cleaning LLC, including service confirmations, reminders, updates, and promotional messages (if authorized).

  • Reply STOP to opt out

  • Reply HELP for assistance

Consent is not a condition of purchase and may be withdrawn at any time.

9. Non-Solicitation of Contractors

Clients agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage TidyPig contractors outside of TidyPig for 12 months following the last service.

Violation may result in liquidated damages equal to $2,500 or actual damages, whichever is greater, as permitted by law.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Misuse or interfere with our website

  • Attempt unauthorized access or data scraping

  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or fraudulent behavior

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, text, and materials are owned by or licensed to TidyPig Cleaning LLC and may not be copied or used without written permission.

12. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Modifications

TidyPig reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
